How We Work

One team, one point of contact — from the first conversation to the final toast.

You will never be passed from department to department. The person who plans your event is based in Oʻahu, coordinates every local detail, is on-site during the event, and remains your single point of contact throughout the process. We respond to all inquiries within two business days.

  1. 01

    First Contact

Tell us about your program, preferred dates, group size, and the purpose of your event. We begin by listening before making recommendations. You’ll hear from us within two business days.

  2. 02

    The Plan

We create a clear, tailored proposal that brings together the venue, dining, event flow, and meaningful moments — designed around your objectives, never from a template.

  3. 03

    On-Island Arrangements

From transportation and floral design to entertainment and on-site logistics, every local detail is coordinated by our own team, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.

  4. 04

    The Event

Your planner is on-site throughout the event, quietly managing every detail behind the scenes so your hosts and guests can focus on enjoying the experience.

  5. 05

    What They Remember

The photographs arrive, the thank-you messages begin, and the memories last long after everyone has returned home. That’s the experience we set out to create.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions planners ask us first about hosting a corporate evening in Hawaiʻi.

What is a DMC in Hawaiʻi, and are you one?

A DMC — destination management company — is the local partner that runs a corporate program on the ground: transportation, venues, dining, staffing, and the events themselves.

WATABE Hawaiʻi is an Oʻahu-based DMC, and private events are what we are known for. We handle the program on the ground with the evening at the center of it.

What can you handle on-island beyond the event itself?
  • Airport transfers and ground transportation
  • Meeting and general-session operations
  • Offsite venue and dining arrangements
  • On-island staff for the length of your program

We work across Oʻahu. If your program also needs hotel contracting, we will tell you plainly and point you to the right partner rather than pass it through.

How far in advance should we begin planning?

Six to nine months is comfortable for a private evening and gives us the widest choice of dates.

We have delivered excellent evenings on shorter notice, so if your program is already close, please still ask.

Can you accommodate dietary needs?

Yes. Our chef prepares the menu in-house, so vegetarian, vegan, halal, gluten-free, and allergy requirements are built into the menu rather than added as substitutions. Share the details once your guest list is confirmed.
